A message from Dan
I began this project in November 2002 and I have slowly
pieced together as many of the places where you can learn how to use a computer
or software application and indeed where you can just have access to use IT,
from searching the Internet in cyber cafes to typing letters in libraries. I
was initially proceeding with this project just to map the cities ICT
facilities for future funding initiatives but realised that it would indeed be
a useful tool for everyone. Rather than it just being on my computer at work I
have published it here!
Just click on the information you want to find out and
contact details for each place that offers that particular service will come
up. Some ICT trainers have their own websites that you can click onto and find
out more about them. If not then phone them to find out the details of your
chosen course and away you go. I hope that this site is useful and I would
welcome any comments that you may have on how to improve it or make it more
user friendly.
